Michael Smith is the President & CEO of Common Sense Consulting, LLC., a political consulting and polling firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Michael is a political strategist and lobbyist advising successful candidates, campaigns, and organizations at all levels.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia—Michael got his start in politics at a young age in 2014 working on the David Perdue for Senate Campaign and the Doug Collins for U.S. House Campaign. Since graduating from the University of Georgia in 2019 with a BBA in Economics, Michael has worked on over 50 political campaigns, serving as a lead consultant, campaign manager, and head of fundraising.

 

He has also lobbied at the Georgia Capitol on behalf of multiple clients across a wide range of issues, building a strong foundation in both strategic communications and governmental affairs at the state and national levels. Whether it's winning on the campaign trail or shaping public policy, his focus is always on delivering results—even under the most challenging circumstances.
